At Koofie’s Natural Living we believe what you put on your body is as important as what you put in your body. We provide simple, safe and healthy skin and body care products as well as food and traditional herbals for whole body wellness!
Simple, clean ingredients are the missing link to reducing environmental stress on your body. Everything you put in and on your body is an opportunity to simplify. The fewer unknown and complicated ingredients that enter your body, the less difficulty your body has in breaking them down to use or dispose of them.
Environmental stresses on the human body can include anything that your body comes in contact with. Food, chemicals, allergens, pollution, water quality, and air quality are all environmental stressors to humans. Some of these are out of our control but limited the amount of stress can help your body deal with those stressors you cannot control.
Your body knows what to do with the simple ingredients that it’s evolved to encounter. But ingredients with long names or copious processing are not something our bodies know what to do with. These new formulations can cause added stress to a body that’s already dealing with things in our environment we cannot control.
This is exactly why we have created high-quality products for you and your family! We know that providing what is best for your body and to those you love is important to you, and we are committed to creating simple, nourishing products that make you feel good about what you feed and use to care for your body.
Providing simple, clean food and body products for yourself and your family is an investment in your future. Now is the best time to improve your nutrition and reduce chemical stress caused by body products. According to an Environmental Working Group study, the average man uses 6 products per day, the average woman uses 12 products per day, and the average teenage girl uses 17? Let’s make the products you use reflect the quality you deserve.
We are here to help you become the best YOU you can be! We created these products to reduce our own stress on our body and we are here to help you do the same.
My team and I would love to connect with you and help you make these changes! You can join our list to receive a bi-weekly update on our farm products or our body products (or join both for weekly news). Eggs
Duck eggs: Our ducks have free-range of a portion of the farm. They enjoy small pools I clean and refill a few times a week. They also enjoy woods and fields for bug foraging in addition to organic feed. All of our ducks lay large – jumbo sized white or slightly colored eggs. If you don’t know about the benefits of duck eggs, please read our article on them.
Chicken eggs: Our chicken coop is near the duck coop and they often free-range as a large group. Our chickens also forage for bugs in addition to organic feed. They produce large eggs in shades of brown and green/blue.
Meat
Lamb: We have spent nearly a decade producing lamb but after a interstate move a few years back our herd is beginning to grow again so availability is very slim as we grow our herd. Our lamb is out on pasture all year and supplemented with excellent quality hay when the grass isn’t growing. Please contact us about your interest in lamb.
Body and Home Care
Deodorants: Natural deodorant made for one of your most sensitive parts! Our deodorant is made in Blue Hill Maine, handmade in small batches, vegan, only tested on willing humans, effective, and has only 9 ingredients.
What it contains:
- arrowroot powder
- magnesium hydroxide
- fractionated coconut oil
- cacao butter (cocoa butter)
- shea butter
- safflower oil
- sweet almond oil
- caranuba wax
- essential oils diluted to about 1%
What we don’t have in our deodorants:
- aluminum
- parabens
- baking soda
- talc
- propylene glycol

Magnesium Oil: Our magnesium oil is made from magnesium chloride flakes and distilled water. It’s a great way to apply magnesium transdermally. If you find it causes you itching, we recommend you try spraying it on the soles of your feet or diluting it 50% with water. Over time, most people are able to transition to spraying it on their body or using it full-strength.
